Any partner can promise growth. Ask what specifically will be delivered, in what timeline, and what your team is expected to provide along the way. A specific, written scope is a good sign; a vague promise is not.
Understand whether you're being quoted a real, scoped price or a rough placeholder that will change once work starts. A partner who can explain their pricing model clearly, fixed versus custom, hourly versus fixed, is easier to hold accountable later.
